Just a Thought
"You should ensure that your stakeholders receive crisis-related information from you FIRST, not from second-hand sources."
- Jonathan Bernstein

From the Editor
We've had clients luck out with reporting on their crises in the past, even to the extent of having already-filmed interviews scooped by bigger news, but the media feeding frenzy surrounding President Trump has taken things to a whole new level.

Whatever side of the political divide you land on there's a fact that can't be debated - Trump's tweets and outspoken behavior are saving others from becoming headlines on a daily basis. It's truly interesting to see the barrage of reporting that follows almost every move, and I can say from my own decade of experience and speaking to others with many more years under their belts that we've never had a situation where you can almost bank on your typical corporate issues garnishing very little media attention on a regular basis.

Of course you can't actually plan to have news from the Oval Office prevent your own issues from becoming front-page news, but if you do wind up getting lucky then thank your unique position in history for the assist!
