A hands-on crisis management experience
Have you ever wondered whether you could handle the intense crises encountered by real Red Cross disaster response teams? Maybe you’re trained in crisis management, but want to get some real, “down in the trenches” experience. The British Red Cross Disaster Response Challenge is a two-day charity event built around a hypothetical disaster that teams participants up with real Red Cross disaster response team members and places them directly into an “ERU” or emergency response unit. Together, they will work to solve the many crises surrounding a humanitarian disaster.
The Red Cross calls this “a challenge that will test the calmest and most practical of you,” are you up it?
