In a past article from my ezine, about “Lessons Learned,” I wrote:
There is no such thing as non-communication and there is no such thing as inaction. Saying nothing communicates. Doing nothing is an action with its own results.
Today’s results — so far — include a 700 pt drop in the Dow. But more than that, they make quite apparent the absolute inability of leaders on both sides of the aisle to cooperate. They fiddle, knowing their financial security is not threatened compared to most people in this country, and Rome burns.
It’s an old ’60’s slogan, I believe from H. Rapp Brown, “If you aren’t part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.” How about we unite to vote leaders ON BOTH SIDES out of office — because if we vote them back in, WE are part of the problem!
